Top 5 Summer Blushes

Hi Guys! I love using blush, and I feel that it just finishes off your makeup and instantly makes you look put together. Today I am going to show you my favorite blushes to use in the summertime!

1. Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Dollface

This is a pretty, baby pink blush with no shimmer. These Tarte blushes are marketed as “12 Hour”, and they have great lasting power! This color is usually what I wear daily.

2. MAC Blush in Fleur Power

This is also a powder blush with no shimmer in it. MAC blushes are awesome. They are extremely pigmented, a little goes a long way. This blush is a Satin finish, which is my favorite finish for blush. This color is a little bit darker than the Tarte blush, and also has a hint of coral to it.

3. Nars Multiple Lip and Cheek Color in Riviera

This is a light pink cream blush stick with a golden shimmer to it. Cream blushes are perfect for the summer, and this blush can double as a highlighter because it will give you that sunkissed, dewy finish to the skin.

4. Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Candy Coral

Don’t be afraid of this color! It looks really orange on camera. In person, it is a pretty, light coral color. I would have never tried this color of blush, I usually just go for pinks, but I saw Rachel Bilson on the cover of People Style Watch, and inside it said she was wearing this blush. This blush has a really weird, playdough like texture. I like to use a stippling brush to apply it, and a little goes a long way. Here is what it looked like on her:

5. Benefit’s Benetint Lip and Cheek Stain

This is a lip and cheek STAIN. It is a beautiful, red rose color. I dot this product on my cheeks and use my fingertips to blend it in. It gives a natural flush to the cheeks, and since it is a stain, it wears all day.

    1. I would recommend the Tarte Dollface blush, it is a really light pink, and I think it would look really pretty on fair skin! Also, the Maybelline Fit Me blushes have a lot of really pretty light colors that would work good too! Hope that helped! 🙂
