Everyday Bronze Eye

Hi everyone! Today I am going to show you how to do my everyday eye makeup that I have been wearing lately. I have been using a bronze-y colored cream shadow with just a lighter taupe color in the crease. I hope you like this look!

First, I take this cream shadow, Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad To The Bronze, on my finger and apply it to my entire eyelid, taking it up to the crease.

The next thing I do is take the color Naked 2 from the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette, and apply that shadow to my crease to help blend out any harsh lines.

Taking the color Phloof from MAC, I use this as a inner corner highlight and use it to highlight under my browbone. This helps your eyes to look brighter.

The next thing I do is take my Jordana Fabuliner in 02 Brown, and line my top lashline, getting as close to the lashes that I can.

Then, I take the Loreal Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner in Carbon Black, and tightline the top of my lashline, so there is not that white space on the waterline.

Then, I take Benefit’s Eye Bright pencil and line my lower waterline. This pinky-white color makes your eyes look more awake and bright.

The last thing I do is curl my eyelashes and apply mascara. I am using a Tarte eyelash curler, and Maybelline’s Volum’ Express The Rocket Mascara.

Milani Color Statement Lipstick Review + Swatches

20130810-141858.jpg
Hi Guys! Hope y’all are having a great week. Today I am going to review these Milani Color Statement Lipsticks.

First off, I love the gold packaging of these lipsticks. They are so pretty and chic. The lipstick has a yummy watermelon scent and they are very moisturizing and creamy. They also have great color payoff.

I picked up 3 colors, Nude Creme, Fruit Punch, and Flamingo Pose.

Here they are on my lips:

20130810-142418.jpg
Nude Creme – this shade is a nude pink color, but not a baby pink, a more brown based pink. This is one nude color that I can wear without looking washed out. It is a cream finish, and a good every day color.

Fruit Punch – I really like this shade! It is a warm, creamy pink that has some brightness to it, but not too much to where it isn’t wearable. It is also a cream finish with no shimmer.

Flamingo Pose – this color just screams summer! It is a bright coral-pink shade. I don’t have any color like this in my collection, and I really love to wear it! It is a cream finish with no shimmer, and the color is very bright.

You can find these lipsticks at select drugstores, I have seen them at Wal-Mart and CVS. They retail for about $5, and they have a great color selection!

Have y’all tried these lipsticks out? What is your favorite shade?

Hope you guys liked this post, thanks for reading!
