Mani Monday : Cupcake Nails!

Hey guys! Hope you had a great weekend. Today’s manicure looks good enough to eat! These are the Nails Inc. Special Effects Sprinkles Nail Polishes. The colors in the collection, from left to right, are Topping Lane, Pudding Lane, Sugar House Lane, and Sweets Away. These nail polish colors contain glitter, and when applied to nails, look like sprinkles!

The color I am wearing today is Topping Lane. I love this nail polish, it makes my nails look so pretty, and just like a cupcake!

I used OPI’s Base Coat, 2 coats of Topping Lane, and I put China Glaze No Chip Top Coat on top.

These nail polishes are sold exclusively at Sephora, and retail for $9.50 each.

Summer Feet Care + DIY Scrub

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend. Today’s post is about what I do to have sandal-ready feet! I walk around barefoot all the time, so I need to pamper my feet every now and then!

The first thing that I do is use a pummous stone to remove any dead skin or callouses on the bottom of my feet. You need to make sure to do this on completely dry feet. I use this pummous stone by Earth Therapeutics that I found at Ulta.

The next thing that I like to do is to exfoliate. I make a sugar scrub by combining a 1/2 cup of sugar with 1/4 cup of vegetable oil. You can use any type of oil that you can find, in the past I have used olive oil and baby oil. It doesn’t really matter. I like using oil instead of water because I think it leaves my feet softer.

I combine it in a bowl until it looks like applesauce and use it to really scrub my feet. This leaves your feet feeling really soft.

The next thing that I like to do is to apply a really thick cream or body butter. These are my two favorites, this coconut one from The Body Shop, and this one from Soap & Glory called Righteous Butter.

These are really thick and very moisturizing on your feet. I like to put some socks on after I apply a generous amount of this, and leave them on for a few hours at night. When you take your socks off, you will have the softest feet ever!

Doggie Summer Fashion

Woof, Woof! Today’s post is all about our pups and their fashions! Maggie is our 8 year old Maltese, and Mollie is our 4 year old Maltese/Lhasa Apso. Maggie and Mollie both love to wear clothes and be fashionable all year round. These are some of the looks they like to wear in the summertime. A big thanks to my Allie Bear for helping Mommy dress these crazy pups 🙂

Maggie is wearing a pink spaghetti strap dress with a heart appliqué and a tulle skirt decorated with glitter, and a pink bow in her fur.
