Empties (Products I’ve Used Up) 4/14

Hi everyone! I was accumulating quite the trash stash, so it’s time for another post about all of the products that I have used up in the past month.

MAKEUP AND NAILS:

Ulta Nail Polish Remover – I usually buy this nail polish remover with the Acetone because it takes off my nail polish with one swipe!
Repurchase? YES

Maybelline Volum’ Express The Rocket Mascara – this is my favorite mascara, and I have backups of these in my drawer. It volumizes and lengthens my lashes, and it’s cheap too.
Repurchase? YES

Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer in Radiant – I use this underneath my eyes to conceal my dark circles, and I really like it. They don’t give you much product in the tube, but it does a really good job of brightening up under eyes.
Repurchase? YES

LORAC Porefection Mattifying Face Primer – I liked this, but I prefer my Benefit Porefessional. This does keep you matte and helps your makeup to stay on all day. I would purchase this if I couldn’t get my hands on the Benefit one.
Repurchase? YES

Benefit POREfessional Primer – it took me forever to use up this tube! This is the old packaging, and I love it so much that I have repurchased this already. You only need a tiny bit, and it diminishes pores and helps keep your foundation on all day. It also doesn’t make you feel greasy.
Repurchase? YES

China Glaze No Chip Top Coat – this is my favorite top coat to wear over nail polish. My nail polish never chips with this, and it looks really shiny and dries fast.
Repurchase? YES

HAIR CARE:

Loreal Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm – this is a thick, creamy conditioner that I use once a week to leave my hair soft and smooth. I put it on in the shower after I shampoo, and let it sit on my hair for about 10 minutes before rinsing. It smells really good and makes my hair feel so silky.
Repurchase? YES

Rusk W8less Strong Hold Shaping and Control Spray – this hairspray is one of my favorites. It has a nice scent, and doesn’t leave my hair feeling crunchy. I spray this in my hair after I curl it, and my curls still look good the next day.
Repurchase? YES

Salon Grafix Invisible Dry Shampoo – this dry shampoo smells pretty bad, and even though it doesn’t leave a white residue, it leaves a lot is texture in my hair, which makes it feel pretty dirty.
Repurchase? NO

Loreal Everstyle Energizing Dry Shampoo – this dry shampoo smells good, doesn’t leave a residue at all, and leaves my hair feeling clean. I really like this dry shampoo.
Repurchase? YES

Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair Cream – I used this before blow drying my hair and I really noticed no difference in my hair at all. I got 3 uses out of the sample and I didn’t notice it made my hair healthier or anything.
Repurchase? NO

Bb Straight Blow Dry Cream – I used this also before blow drying and I really didn’t like the way my hair felt afterwards. It left it feeling gunky and it smelled like men’s cologne.
Repurchase? NO

SKIN CARE:

Bath and Body Works Caribbean Escape Foaming Hand Soap – these soaps are my favorite and they smell soo good. This scent is one of my favorites because it’s smells fruity and beachy.
Repurchase? YES

Yes To Grapefruit Dark Circle Correcting Eye Cream – I love anything grapefruit-scented, and this cream smells really good. I also like the squeeze-tube packaging so you don’t have to dip your fingers in to a jar. This is a moisturizing cream that I used in the morning before makeup. It did brighten up my dark circles, until I washed it off. I don’t believe any claims of products that can permanently diminish dark circles though!
Repurchase? YES

Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 – this is my favorite moisturizer to use during the day. It is lightweight, doesn’t make me feel greasy, and has a fresh scent.
Repurchase? YES

Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask – I was excited to try a sample of this mask, because I have heard that charcoal is really good for clearing out pores. Needless to say, this made me break out in bumps all over my face, which is weird because I use a lot of other Origins products.
Repurchase? NO

Herbal Essences Body Wash – smells really good, lathers up nice, what else can you want from a body wash?
Repurchase? YES

Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Scrub – I used this a couple of times a week to exfoliate my face in the shower, and I love the scent, and it left my face feeling refreshed and clean.
Repurchase? YES
