I finally got my GLAMGLOW on

Hi everyone! I have been hearing so much hype about these GLAMGLOW masks that I finally decided to try one out. I love masks, they are so fun to do every once in a while to pamper your skin. After reading numerous reviews on all of the GLAMGLOW masks, I decided to try the Supermud Clearing Treatment Mask.

This mud mask is supposed to draw out dirt and oil from pores for a deep clean feeling while brightening and softening skin.

So as soon as I received this mask, I couldn’t wait to try it out. The packaging is ADORABLE, they really know how to suck me in with the cute packaging. It comes in this fancy cardboard box and inside is the little jar of product. The size of this is 1.2 oz, which seems very small, but you don’t need much at all to cover your whole face…and you can actually just use this in certain areas to spot treat on your face also.

The consistency of this mask is creamy with little green tea leaves in it to aid in exfoliation. It has a minty and refreshing smell and feels tingly on your face when you apply it. I applied a thin layer all over my face, and waited about 20 minutes before rinsing it off. After about 5 minutes, the mask dries to a light gray color and you can actually notice dark spots appearing on your face where the impurities are being pulled out from your pores. Once I rinsed this off, my skin looked amazing. It felt so clean and refreshed, and super smooth. My pores were completely shrunken and I couldn’t stop touching my face it was so soft.

I noticed that my skin still looked good the next morning when I woke up, and I feel like the more that you use this mask, the better your skin will get. It says that you can get up to 17 uses out of this jar, and more than that if you use it to spot treat. I have even heard of people applying this on a pimple and sleeping with it on overnight, and waking up with great results.

I’m really glad that I decided to finally try this, and I plan on using it once a week as a deep cleansing treatment!

Have you guys tried this mask? What do you think of it?

Thanks for reading, have a great day!

Sexy Lips and Lashes?

Hey guys! I recently placed an order with Sephora…and I saw that this little set was on sale, so I decided to try it out. I have tried a few things from the brand Too Faced in the past, and I have liked them, especially their Chocolate Soleil bronzer and eyeshadow primers. So this set came with deluxe size samples of the Lip Injection Gloss and the Better Than Sex Mascara.

So, right off the bat, I really liked the packaging of this mascara. It is a pretty pale pink color and the brush is huge, which I really like. This mascara is really volumizing, but tends to clump a bit, so take your time with applying it. It gave me super long volumized lashes, and it didn’t flake off or smear during the day at all. It is really black, and gives a smoldering look to the eyes and really holds the curl. I am super picky about mascara, and I hardly ever try a new one that I actually like, so I was really surprised by how good this was.

I was really excited to try this Lip Injection. I have somewhat of an obsession with lip plumpers, and I just love the tingly feeling and how they make your lips look plump and full. I applied this to my lips, and HOLY MOLY. It started tingling at first, and then came the burning. I almost washed this off, because it was literally STINGING, but I decided to fight through the pain…beauty is pain, right? So I looked in the mirror after about 3 minutes, and literally my lips were HUGE, and not only huge, but they had a reddish-pink tint to them which I was not expecting, because the gloss comes off as clear at first. This stuff is intense, but it really does work. I wouldn’t use this for everyday, but it would be fun for a night out.

Overall, I am happy with this little set! I like how they come out with these at Sephora, because it gives you a chance to try these products at a much cheaper price than buying the full sizes.

Have you tried either of these products? What do you think of them?

Favorite Bronzers For Summer!

Hi everyone! I thought I would share with you all my favorite bronzers to use in the summer. I like to use bronzer in the summertime as a blush, or just all over my face to give that bronze-y, sunkissed glow. I like to use matte bronzer to contour with any time of the year. I picked out 3 matte bronzers and 3 shimmery bronzers to share with you today, and most of these bronzers are higher-end, just because I can’t seem to find many drugstore bronzers that I like! If you know of a good drugstore bronzer, let me know!

Benefit Hoola Bronzer – This is my all-time favorite shade to use for contouring. This is great for my fair skintone, and a little bit goes a long way. It is very natural on my cheeks and I use it almost every single day.

NYC Smooth Skin Sunny Bronzer – This bronzer is my favorite from the drugstore. It is very similar to Hoola, but it is darker, so I can only use this when I am a little bit more tan. This bronzer does not look orange on me at all, and it blends out really easily.

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer – This bronzer is almost identical to Hoola, but a lot deeper. It is very smooth and smells like delicious chocolate. It is also very natural looking, and great for contouring.

Pixi Bronzer in Subtly Suntouched – I love to use this bronzer as a blush/highlight on my cheekbones. It is very light, but I am fair enough that it gives a pretty glow to my cheeks. This definitely gives a sunkissed summery look without being too dark.

Tarte Bronzer in Park Avenue Princess – This is a great, medium toned bronzer with subtle shimmer. The formula of this bronzer is awesome, it lasts all day on the cheeks and does not come off with any orange at all.

NARS Multiple in Laguna – This is a great cream bronzer. I LOVE these NARS Multiples so much, they are so easy to just put on the cheeks and blend out. It looks like it has a lot of shimmer in the tube, but once it is on your cheeks, it has just the right amount of shimmer, and because it is a cream product, it gives a dewy look to your cheeks. Love this.

Hope this was helpful to anyone looking for a new bronzer to try!

What’s your favorite bronzer?

Mani Monday – Perfect Pink!

Hey guys, happy Monday! Today is a special day for me because by the time this post goes up, we will have a new addition to our family, another little sweet girl, Ashley Elizabeth! 🙂

Of course, I had to have freshly painted nails for her arrival, and I chose this BEAUTIFUL pink color by Nails Inc. I think ULTA just started carrying this brand; I had previously only seen it at Sephora. Anyway, my ULTA had the prettiest display set up with lots of colors, and I picked this one out. I can’t believe I am saying this, but I think this color beats out my all-time favorite nail polish, OPI’s Got A Date To Knight, which is a little bit lighter, and less purple.

I applied two coats of this, and I really like the formula; very creamy and not streaky at all. Then, I thought I should add a little bit of sparkle, so I lightly applied this Zoya topcoat in Monet, which is a very pretty, multicolored holographic glitter.

Do you guys like this mani?

What’s on your nails?

EMPTIES (Products I’ve Used Up) 6/14

Hey guys! It’s time for another post about the products that I have used up in the past couple of months. I have really been trying to use up things in my collection, rather than going out and buying a bunch of new things! I personally like these types of posts because they are kind of like mini-reviews on products. I hope ya’ll like them too.

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum – This is a little travel size I recently used up. I have this in the full-size already and I love it. I apply just two pumps of this to freshly washed hair and it smoothes my hair and makes it super shiny after I dry it. It also smells like fruity candy! REPURCHASE: YES

Kenra Platinum Blow Dry Spray – This is a heat protectant for your hair that also speeds up blow dry time. It smells like coconutty-goodness and it protects your hair from hot tools. It also detangles my hair and makes it shiny. REPURCHASE : YES

Soap and Glory The Righteous Body Butter – Oh, I love Soap and Glory and I LOVE this body butter. It is so thick and creamy, super moisturizing, and it smells soo good. It smells like a mix of floral and fruity, as do all of their products in this pink packaging. You don’t even need perfume when you wear this! REPURCHASE: YES

Bath and Body Works Body Wash in Cucumber Melon – I actually found this body wash in my cabinet unopened, so I decided to use it up. I didn’t find that it was very moisturizing, and the scent reminded me of middle school. I probably won’t repurchase this, I am happy with my drugstore body washes! REPURCHASE: NO

Jergens BB Body Cream for Med-Deep Skin Tones – I think I’m the only person on the planet who doesn’t like this. I guess I don’t really understand the point of it. I love my Jergens Natural Glow lotion that subtly gives you a tan over time, but this one isn’t a self-tanner since the “color” just washes off? I don’t know, I did not really notice any color, or any difference to my skin after using this. REPURCHASE: NO

Clarisonic Refreshing Gel Cleanser – This is my everyday face wash; even if I don’t use my Clarisonic, I still use this daily. It leaves my skin super clean but not dried out, and I like the smell of it. REPURCHASE: YES

Sephora Collection Supreme Cleansing Oil – I love this for removing my makeup, you just put a couple of pumps in your hand, mix it with a little bit of water, and rub it all over your face. It disintegrates all your makeup and doesn’t leave an oily residue. I always wash my face after using this, but since it is a cleansing oil, you don’t have to. REPURCHASE : YES

Hourglass No 28 Primer Serum – I received this as a sample, and it is a very luxurious product. A little bit goes a long way, but I just don’t like serum-type primer, it made my face feel shiny and slick. I am used to the silicone-based primers, like Benefit’s Porefessional. This stuff is crazy expensive too. REPURCHASE: NO

Maybelline FIT ME Stick Foundation in 110 Porcelain – This foundation is really lightweight and gives a light to medium coverage on the skin. It is really creamy and is really easy to blend, and I like the finish it gives. REPURCHASE : YES

Stila One Step Primecolor in Pop of Pink – This is product that can be used on lips and cheeks, but I mainly used it on my cheeks. It is a pretty pink color that is really creamy and easy to blend out on the cheeks. It has a subtle shimmer to it, and a little bit goes a long way. REPURCHASE : YES

LORAC Special Effects Mascara – This mascara is one of those two-in-one kinds with the white primer on one side, and the mascara on the other. I really didn’t like this, it flaked on me and it was pretty clumpy. I didn’t like the brush either. REPURCHASE : NO

Benefit They’re Real Mascara – I love this mascara, it is probably my favorite high end one. I don’t ever purchase it though; because I like Maybelline The Rocket better. This mascara is like the high-end version of that – lengthens, volumizes, and doesn’t clump. I would repurchase this though, if I ever get tired of The Rocket. REPURCHASE: YES

Jordana Fabuliner in Black and Brown – This is my favorite liquid liner, and is $1.99 at Walgreens. They are super pigmented, and the felt tip is perfect. I use these almost everyday, and I especially like the brown for everyday wear. REPURCHASE : YES

Ardell Demi Lashes 110 – These are my favorite lashes to wear, they are natural looking, but they give that extra glam look to your eyes. REPURCHASE : YES

Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey – I really like this lipstick, you can wear it sheer, or you can build up the color. It is a nice, “my lips but better” color, and looks like a light flush of red on my lips. It is shiny and moisturizing too. REPURCHASE : YES

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Coral Reef – These lipglosses and the NYX glosses are my favorite drugstore glosses. These are not sticky at all, they are shiny, and they wear a couple of hours on the lips. This particular color is soo pretty for the summer. REPURCHASE: YES

Bath And Body Works 2 in 1 Hair + Body Wash in Twilight Woods – My husband actually went out of his way to tell me how much he liked this. He doesn’t use it for his hair, but he said he really likes the smell and that it lathers up really good. Next time I go to Bath and Body Works I’m gonna check out more men’s things for him to try. REPURCHASE: YES

Ok, so that’s it for all of my trash! I hope you guys enjoyed this post!
