Don’t judge me! I fully intend on wearing makeup while I am in the hospital. My daughter is due in a couple of weeks (!!!) and I am going to show you what I am packing to bring with me in the hospital.
I know there will be pictures and visitors, and I just like wearing makeup, what can I say? Makeup makes me feel refreshed and pretty, and I don’t think there is anything wrong with that. I’m not going for a full-on, full coverage, smoky eye or anything…just some bb cream and a few other things. So here we go:
Loreal Magic Skin Beautifier B.B Cream in Fair – I featured this product in my monthly favorites because I have been loving it for a quick and easy makeup look. I don’t have to use a brush or anything with this, so it will be easy for the hospital. It just evens out my skintone and makes my skin look soft and smooth.
MAC Prep + Prime in Radiant Rose – this is a twist up pen concealer that is pinky-toned that I like using underneath my eyes to cover dark circles. It is really easy to blend with my finger, and makes me look instantly awake.
Loreal True Match Crayon Concealer in W-1-2-3 – I am bringing this concealer just in case I don’t feel like doing the B.B. cream. I can use this crayon quickly to spot conceal around my nose, or to cover up any unevenness.
MUFE HD Powder – I am bringing this small container of powder to use if I get shiny. This powder is so awesome and really keeps my skin matte.
LORAC PRO To Go Eye and Cheek Palette – This palette is awesome and great for traveling. It has 2 blush colors, a bronzer, 6 eyeshadows, and 2 little brushes that are actually useful! I have a full review on it here. This palette is really easy to use and has a big mirror.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel – I’m not bringing any brow products except this. I plan to just use this to define my brows and keep them in place. This is really quick and easy to use.
Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Eye Pencil in Black Velvet – this is a travel sized black eyeliner pencil that stays put. I can use this really quick to define my eyes.
Maybelline Colossal Volum’ Express Mascara – this mascara is very natural looking and doesn’t take much work to remove. It gives nice length and doesn’t smudge.
Dior Creme de Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm – this is my favorite lip balm, and I will probably use this a lot while I am in the hospital. It keeps my lips soft and moisturized, and I probably won’t feel like fussing with any other lip products.
Do you think I have everything that I will need? I probably won’t end up using all of this, but I like to be prepared!
Have a great day, and thanks for reading my blog!
I don’t blame you one bit! Why not feel fabulous and glamorous when kicking butt and taking names! Plus, with the abundance of hospital and birthing photos nowadays it’s almost a necessity…
Also, I just picked up MAC’s Radiant Rose and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. Amaze.
Best of luck in the coming weeks!!!
