MOMMY Monday : Mom’s Night Out Makeup

Hi everyone! I am free for a night, so the question is…what makeup should I wear? Today I am going to show you a simple and pretty makeup look that you can wear on a Mom’s night out with your girlfriends, or a date night with your husband! I chose to do a bronze-brown eye with coral lips and cheeks. I hope you like this look, and will try it out!

FACE

Always prep your skin with moisturizer before applying makeup- it makes your face smooth and soft! I chose to skip the primer and went straight for foundation. I applied Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in the shade B10. This foundation is super light and gives a dewy finish to the skin. Underneath my eyes I used my (well loved) Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in the Brightener shade- the perfect pinky toned concealer that cancels out the blue toned under eye circles. I then took my NARS Light Reflecting Powder in Translucent Crystal and set my under eye concealer with it. This keeps the concealer from creasing and adds a brightening quality. For cheeks, I used my Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette in Streak. I am in love with this little palette and I have a full review on it here.

EYES

For my brows, I applied my favorite brow product, the Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Dark Brown/Brunette. I then took a cream eyeshadow, Maybelline’s Color Tattoo Cream Eyeshadow in Nude Compliment, which is a light bronze color, and applied it all over my eyelids with my fingertip. I then took the matte brown shade from the Dior 3 Couleurs Smoky Palette and applied it to my crease, blending it out and deepening the color towards the outer corners of the eyes. Next, I took the cream shade in the palette and applied that to my browbone and inner corners of my eyes to brighten up the look.

For liners, I used the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner in Intense Black on my upper lashline and tightlined with the NARS Larger Than Life pencil in Via Veneto. I then took this Rimmel Scandaleyes Eye Shadow Stick in Bad Girl Bronze and smudged that under my lower lashline and waterline.

I curled my lashes and applied Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara to my upper and lower lashes. To finish off the look, I took my favorite MAC Lipstick in See Sheer and applied that to my lips. This is a beautiful sheer coral shade that goes perfectly with the bronze eyes. I skipped the gloss for this look because the lipstick is shiny on it’s own.

Here is the finished look:
