I love getting this Julep Maven box! For someone that loves nail polish as much as me, this is a great subscription box. This month’s theme was the Paradise Collection, all about summery, tropical colors. They also sent me a little bag of Gobstoppers candy, maybe because of Easter? I don’t know! I ate them, though. Haha
If you are unfamiliar with Julep Maven, it is a monthly subscription service that sends a box to you every month. They pick the products for you based on a profile quiz that you do during the sign up process. If you prefer, you can actually go on the site when the collection is released each month and pick what you want to have sent out to you. I prefer to be surprised, so I don’t ever go on the site to choose or see the colors. It is $19 per month, and they send a mix of makeup and nail polish. Julep is a high end makeup brand, and all of the products you receive are full size. The formula of the nail polish is great, and the colors are always on trend. Here is what was in my box:
They sent two nail colors, Drew, a bright hot pink, and Cassidy, a teal color. Both of these are colors that I do not have. Julep always surprises me by sending colors that I don’t have in any other brand. Of course, I have some colors that are close, but not identical. Both of these colors are bright and perfect for spring and summer. They remind me of a beach vacation.
The last thing they sent was the Julep Don’t Leave Your Brows at Home All-in-One Brow Powder & Brush. This is a little pen with a brow powder on one end and a little brush on the other. Genius! This is perfect to keep in my bag for touch-ups throughout the day. The shade is Rich Brown, which matches my brows perfectly. (When you take the quiz they ask what color hair you have).
The nail colors retail for $14 each, and the brow powder goes for $24. So, I paid $19 for this box, and got $52 worth of goodies.
What did you get in your box?
