I don’t know about y’all, but I love breakfast, and I love to eat breakfast food any time of the day. Today, I thought I would share a really good recipe with y’all – a quick and easy breakfast casserole using just a few ingredients. Everyone I have made this for has absolutely loved it, even my two girls, 3 and 10 months. I guarantee if you make this for your family, everyone will love it!
Here’s what you need.
Do you like my cupcake salt and pepper shakers?
- 1 lb ground sausage (you can use any kind of ground sausage, and even small pieces of cooked bacon will work)
- 1 roll of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (biscuit dough works too)
- 5 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Brown up your sausage in a skillet. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
Unroll Crescent Rolls, and spread dough onto 9″11 baking dish. Spread sausage and half of the shredded cheese over the top.
In a bowl, combine eggs, milk, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is combined, and then pour into baking dish.
Add remaining cheese over top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until edges of crescent rolls are brown and cheese is melted.
The eggs don’t come out runny, and the sides and bottom are nice and crispy.
Hope you guys liked this recipe, and let me know if you try it out!

Looks good! 🙂
Thanks! It’s not the healthiest dish, but I could eat half the pan. Haha
It’s okay to indulge every now and then. 🙂
Agreed!!! 🙂
