Brand Focus:  MAYBELLINE

…I’m still here.  I haven’t posted in about a MONTH, but I’m ready to get back to my regular blog posts – up every MWF! 

Ok, so I had this great idea to make a series with standout products from different makeup brands.  Is this a good idea?  We’re doing it.

So, I wanted to start off with a drugstore brand – and I love a lot from Maybelline.  The only things that I don’t love are their powders, blushes, and foundations…from what I’ve tried. But, there are other drugstore brands out there to choose from for those.

  
I have lots of faves from this brand.

Let’s talk about their concealers first.  So, the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer is a classic.  Perfect concealer for anywhere on the face- except the undereyes, as it does get crease-y.  Comes in a bunch of shades, and works really well.  Now, I gotcha covered for the undereyes too.  Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer (geez) is soo fetch.  I get mine in the Brightener shade, which is a light pinky tone to combat my blue circles.  This stuff covers, doesn’t crease, and lasts all day.

Ok, onto eye products.

Maybelline Color Tattoo cream eyeshadows are the best cream eyeshadows I’ve ever used.  I wish I was kidding, but I’m pretty sure I own these in every color.  These are so easy and so foolproof, all you need is your finger and an eyelid.  Haha. But really.  These last so long and don’t crease AT ALL.  I love these.  Also, a fairly recent find is this Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner.  This liner is right up there with my Stila Stay All Day Liner. Look how sharp that tip is!  It is super black, and easy to wing out (if that’s ya thing).  No smudging at all, and LASTS.  

If you have been reading my blog, you will know about my love of Maybelline mascaras.  Especially Rocket Volum Express.  I also love the Lash Sensational too.  You just can’t go wrong with a Maybelline mascara.  These two give volume, length, and are super black!

The last thing I love from Maybelline are their lip products, the Color Sensational Lipsticks, Color Whispers, and Baby Lips to name a few.  These are all great lines, super moisturizing, and come in a ton of colors.  I actually think that these Color Whispers are very comparable to MAC Lustre finish lipsticks.  They give shine and sheer (but buildable) color.  Baby Lips are kind of like a tinted balm, but leave your lips shiny and moisturized.

So, that’s it for my favorite Maybelline products!  Do you like Maybelline?
