Summer Hair with Bumble and Bumble

Great summer hair to me is all about the quick, easy, and effortless styles.

Whether you like to wear your hair straight, wavy, or dirty…I’ve got you covered with my three favorite Bumble and Bumble hair care products.

So the first one here is the Bumble and Bumble Pret-a-powder.  This is a dry shampoo, volumizer, and texturizer all-in-one.  It’s a very fine, loose powder that you shake out into your hands (or hair) and work it in to your roots with your fingertips.  Use this on dry, clean hair to get instant volume and lift, or dry day (or three) old hair to soak up oils and refresh your hair.

The next product is the Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray.  This is a texturizing sea salt spray that mattifies the hair for a messy, beachy wave look.  I like to spray this in to towel-dried hair, and scrunch with my fingers while blow drying on low with a diffuser.  This will not make your hair crunchy or give it that shiny, gel look (*shudder*).  This gives a nice, fresh out of the ocean wave.  It smells great too.

The last product here is for a nicer, sleek look.  This is Bumble and Bumble  Repair Blow Dry Cream.  This is for the days when I want to wear my hair straight and treat myself to a nice, sleek blowout.  I apply about a nickel-sized amount of this cream to my hair (ears and below) and blow dry it straight using a round brush.  This product protects your hair from heat, tames frizz, and gives you such a soft, full look.  It also protects hair against breakage.

Bumble and Bumble products are sold exclusively at Sephora.

How do you like to wear your hair in the summer months?

Thanks for reading! xo, Amy
