Once or twice a week it’s nice to have a pamper-night. You know, manicure, exfoliate, bubble bath, self tanner, drink wine…whatever! But, my favorite thing to do is use a face mask. There are so many different types of masks that give different results. Here are my top recommendations for face masks for you to try out on your next pamper night!
Thanks to my friend Gillian, I am now hooked on sheet masks (thanks G for opening up a whole new world for me, lol). Sheet masks are basically paper or cloth with eye and mouth cutouts that are soaked in product. You place them on your face and let the product sink in (you don’t rinse your face after). I really like the Sephora ones that just recently came out, they have all different types, from moisturizing and brightening, to anti-blemish and mattifying. A mask for anyone really, and they come in cute, brightly colored packaging. I also really like the Karuna masks from Sephora, they are really luxurious and nice. Masqueology is an amazing brand, their sheet masks are life-changing. Seriously, my skin is so soft and smooth after using these. If you’re on a budget, Freeman makes great, affordable sheet masks. They also have different ones to target your specific need.
Now let’s talk more traditional type masks. I really loved Glamglow (in the white jar), but I used that up recently and have not repurchased yet. It is very pricey, but a great mask. I also like the Fresh Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask, which is amazing, super luxurious, and makes your skin look brand new afterward. A drugstore mask that I love is the Freeman Mint and Lemon Clay Mask. I find that this mask gives me great results by purifying my skin and helping if I have a breakout.
After you rinse off your face mask, it is really important to follow up with a thick night cream to really lock all of the moisture and good ingredients into your skin. My favorite (favorite) night cream to use is the Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins cream. This is a very thick cream that really hydrates my skin without feeling sticky or greasy.
Do you like to use face masks?
Thanks for reading! xx

I love pamper nights! Sheet masks are my favourite, even though they look terrifying 🙂
Haha!! They are pretty scary looking. Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
I do. Clay masks in the summer are a must for me. 🙂
I love those too! I’ve been wanting to try that red clay one from First Aid Beauty. Have you tried that?
No, I haven’t. To be honest, I didn’t know they had a mask. Must search for a sample at Sephora. 🙂
Love masking! Especially with sheet masks!
Me too!!! They’re so scary, but effective! Haha
Ahhh! I just saw this! (My computer doesn’t open WordPress reader anymore. I think my 6 year old laptop that I’ve put through hell is about to give out and completely incompatable with most programs now…)
Sheet masking is da best! I haven’t been able to find any more Masqueology ones except for the occasional full-priced sighting at Sephora. Which one is your favorite?! Let me know if you want me to send you some more. I got ya back, girl! It’s becoming now popular now!
I like the lifting and firming one!!! I feel like my skin looks so good after I use it! No, no, I still have plenty!! You gave me so many! 🙂
Oh, one more thing, have you considered adding a Bloglovin page? I just searched you and you’re not on there :(. I love it and since my computer doesn’t pull up WP anymore, I’m transitioning all the WP blogs that I read to BL.
Just a thought:). A selfish one at that :):):)
Sure! How do I do that? Technology challenged here
Just visit bloglovin and you can get your site added pretty easily! I think you just have to put in one line of html code on your next blog post and the service will pick you up! Super (-ish) simple :):):)
Ok! I think I did it, do you see me on there now?
