I love to wear colorful jewelry, but I’m not really a necklace person. I like necklaces, but only dainty ones really. My favorite way to accessorize is with earrings. I am always wearing my wedding ring, and I am always wearing earrings.
The great thing about colorful fancy earrings is that even if you’re just wearing jeans and a t-shirt, the earrings will make you look put together.
I love any types of earrings – cuffs, hoops, drops, dangles, ear jackets, studs…love them all.
But I really love earrings with gemstones.
Gemstone studs are so nice to wear with a really casual outfit or with a nice ponytail. Nordstrom BP makes nice studs that are super inexpensive, like these pink and cream ones. Kendra Scott makes pretty ones in all different colors, like these blue studs.
The rest of these are drop-type earrings. These pink ones are from Hautelook and are my newest obsession. I LOVE them and they take any outfit to the next level! They’re beautiful. The aquamarine colored ones and the peach ones are actually Chalcedony, and really look pretty for summer, especially with a white top or dress.
The navy, light pink, and brown colored earrings are from F21. They are nice fashion pieces that are surprisingly good quality, and really cute if you’re on a budget! I find that you don’t necessarily have to match the color of the gemstone to the outfit. I wore the hot pink ones recently with a blue dress, and received lots of compliments on them.
