You guys like tacos? If you do, then you will LOVE these chicken tacos that you can make in (my BFF) the CROCKPOT. This is the easiest, tastiest recipe – and your whole family will love it. Let’s get started.
You will need:
- A crockpot (obvi). I am using my small crockpot today.
- 2 Chicken breasts (I am just using one because it is a gigantic one -but it’s equal to 2 normal sized ones)
- 16 oz of salsa (I use mild for my girls)
- 1 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1/2 tbsp cumin
Put your chicken into the crockpot. In a small bowl, mix up the salsa, taco seasoning, and cumin, and dump it over the chicken.
Put the lid on the crockpot and plug it in. Let it go for 4-6 hrs, depending on if your chicken breasts are frozen or not. In just a few hours your house will start smelling SO GOOD, the juices will be flowin’, and the chicken will start getting really tender.
After about 6 hours, you will be able to shred the chicken with a fork.
I like to use corn tortillas for these tacos, and garnish them with cheese and lettuce. I like tomatoes and guacamole on them too, but this is all I had in the fridge 🙂
Hope you guys liked this recipe! Let me know if you try it out!
And thank you to my sweet friend Sunnie for the recipe 🙂
xx, Amy
