Sephora called…I came running – as usual. My birthday was a couple of weeks ago, and I had a giftcard and some birthday moola, so I decided to place an order. There are always things in my “cart” awaiting checkout.
Now, the one thing I knew I was going to buy was the Lancôme Genifique Serum. I’ve been wanting this for months, and after using up a sample (100 point perk), I knew it had to be mine. Well, my sweet JJ heard me blabbing about how great it was every night as I was applying it, so he included it in with my birthday presents. He’s the best 🙂
So yeah, obsessed with that serum, and yes, it is so ridiculously expensive. No regrets here though, this little baby is going to last me a lifetime (you only need a tiny bit).
So, onto the things I actually ordered. This Urban Decay Chill Makeup Setting Spray is my favorite setting spray. Apparently it is also everyone else’s (although I’ve never heard anyone talk about it) because it is always sold out in stores! This is the reason why I placed the order instead of just going into the store. I don’t know why this setting spray is my favorite, but I don’t like any of the other Urban Decay ones or any of the other brands I’ve tried. This Chill one doesn’t feel sticky or make my face stiff, and it keeps my makeup lookin fresh allllll day.
I also picked up this Too Faced Primed & Poreless Powder. I didn’t exactly NEED a setting powder (letsbehonest), but I just wanted this! It has the cutest little pink compact, and it’s a yellow toned powder that blurs the look of pores.
I also grabbed a Benefit Gimme Brow in Medium/Deep. This is a fiber gel for brows that adds color and fills in any sparse areas on the brows. I’m not sure why, but I was shocked by the size of this teeeeny thing. I’m pretty sure I’ve tested this out in store, and I don’t remember it being sooo small. It looks like a sample! But, I like it so far, so it’s ok. 🙂
The last thing I got is the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in the shade Fair Neutral. I gotta tell you, I don’t know if this is a win for me. It works good for redness and spot concealing, but the main reason I got it is for the real problem – my zombie dark circles. I’ve even tried using a corrector up under thur and then applying this overtop, and my dark circles just show their ugly little faces right through! 😦 I’m gonna give it another try though. Does it work for you guys? What am I doing wrong? HEEEELPPP!
Ok, so that’s all I picked up from Sephora. Have you tried any of these products?
Thanks for reading! 🙂
