Matte Lips and Glowy Cheeks | Colourpop

Colourpop is a brand known for their very affordable lip and cheek products.  The brand is currently only available online, but there are so many swatches and reviews out there, you will be sure to find the right colors to suit you.  All of the products are $5-8, and are high-end quality.  My two favorite products from the brand are their Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks and their Super Shock Cheek Highlighters.  I picked out my favorite shades to show you.

First up are these amazing highlight colors in Lunch Money and Teasecake.  These are $8, and come in a lot of pretty colors.  These are my two favorite because they are so beautiful!  I really like the packaging of these, they are little twist off pots.  The texture of the product is a super light creamy mousse, that quickly turns to powder when blended.  I find that the best way to apply these are with my fingertips.  A little bit goes a long way, and they will give your skin a luminous glow.  Lunch Money is a champagne gold color, and Teasecake is a pinky-gold.  These are both beautiful on the skin and last all day.

These liquid lipsticks come in a ton of bold colors, are $6, and are a great alternative to the Kat Von D or Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks.  The packaging is THE SAME as the Anastasia ones.  My two favorite colors from my stash are Clueless, a dusty mauve pink(my-lips-but-better-color, thanks Korrie for recommending this one!), and Scrooge, a rosy pink red.  These lippies are LEGIT.  They will not come off.  I have to take a makeup wipe and scrub my lips at the end of the day, and sometime that doesn’t even do the trick.  These are extremely matte, so use a balm under them and make sure to exfoliate your lips before applying.  I love these.  Clueless is my jam and I’ve been wearing it every day!

I also love how Colourpop includes swatches of the product on different skin tones in the description.  Since you are not able to swatch them in person, this is very helpful to find the right shades to suit you.

Have you tried Colourpop?  What are your favorites?
