Current (Beauty) Crushes

I can’t believe it’s already February!  I’ve got a bunch of favorites to share (including some life changing lashes!) so let’s get started!

House of Lashes Lash Glue – this lash glue is so good.  You apply a thin layer to the lash band with the brush tip, and you don’t even have to wait for it to get tacky before applying.  I also like the dark tone one, but they work just the same.  My lashes stay on all day with this.

Sephora Collection Bronzer Powder in Anguilla (Light) – this is the lightest bronzer I have ever seen, and I have been LOVING this for my fair winter skin (think NW15).  It is very warm toned, but it doesn’t make me look orangey.  It is matte, and adds subtle color and warmth to my face so I don’t look like a ghost.

Here’s a swatch:

Elizabeth and James Nirvana White Perfume Oil – this is a concentrated oil version of this fragrance that I love. I basically want to bathe in this scent.  I apply a drop or two of this to my wrists and the scent lingers all day long. The scent is very floral with peony, rose, and musk.

Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder – Laura Mercier is the powder queen!  I already love her Translucent powder, even featured it in my 2015 Favorites, and now I love this one too.  This is a white powder that I like to use to set my under eye concealer (not my whole face), and it makes my undereyes super bright.  It has light reflecting particles that brighten up the area.    And who doesn’t want a brighter under eye area?

Red Cherry Eyelashes #213 Harley – these have been my favorite go-to daytime lashes.  I LOVE THESE.  They aren’t dramatic at all, but they just make you look like you’ve got really good lashes.  They aren’t super long, which I love because they look more natural.  I wear these whenever I have something important to go to in the daytime, and I save my dramatic lashes for night time.

NUDESTIX Lip + Cheek Pencil in Whisper – this is a super soft and creamy pencil (I mean SO CREAMY) and it is the prettiest nude/light brown color.  I love lip pencils like this because they are so easy to apply.  I usually go for more pinky-nudes, but this color just works and doesn’t give me “concealer lips”.

What have you been loving lately?
