Seventh Sparkle

I’ve been dying to try OPI’s latest New Orleans Collection for Spring/Summer 2016! 

There are so many beautiful colors in this collection and I always love the formula of OPI’s polishes.

I chose the color Show Us Your Tips! , a periwinkle (but more purple) color with holographic shimmer.  This color is gorgeous!  It is very sheer, so I did need to do three coats.  

I chose this color because I don’t have anything in my collection like it!  It really is chock full of sparkle.

  
First I used my favorite, OPI Natural Nail Basecoat, which preps my nails and makes the polish glide on so smoothly.  This basecoat really helps to extend the wear time of my nail polish.

To finish, I used the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat.  I’ve heard mixed reviews about this product, but I think I love it!  It’s got a big flat brush that makes it so easy to apply, and despite drying time, it really does make my nails look shiny and thick like gel nails.  

  
I do my nails at night after my girls go to sleep, so letting my nails dry for an hour or so isn’t a big deal to me.  I probably wouldn’t use this if I was in a hurry to go somewhere, though!
