Blush/Bronzer Face Palettes | Are They Worth It?

Hello!  Today I am going to talk about blush/bronzer duos.  Bronzer and blush are products I use every day, so it only makes sense to buy them together in one compact!  I also think face palettes are really convenient and easy for travel.  Here are some of my faves.

ELF Blush Palette in Light

This palette is so good.  It has a baby doll pink, a bronzer, a medium pink, and a coral pink with shimmer.  This palette has everything you need.  ELF covered all the bases with this one, and I love the nice big mirror.  Did I mention the price?  $6.  Go.

Here are the swatches:

Urban Decay Naked Flushed in Native

I love these Urban Decay palettes.  The packaging is perfect with the gold letters and magnetic closure.  This one has a warm toned bronzer, a pink champagne colored highlight, and a cool toned Barbie pink.  I like how the products aren’t equal size, because obviously you use more bronzer and blush than highlight.  Good thinking, UD.  The bronzer and blush are matte, and the highlight is so so pretty.

Urban Decay Naked Flushed in Streak

This one has a lighter bronzer (still matte, still warm toned), a champagne gold highlight, and a beautiful matte coral blush.  This is my favorite of the two because of the blush color.  I think this color is so pretty and perfect for spring.

These UD palettes give you three products for not much more than one full size product on its own.  Yeah, they are smaller than the individual full sizes, but how often do you get through a full size blush or bronzer?  Me, hardly ever.

NARS Blush/Bronzer Duo in Orgasm/Laguna

Lemme tell ya, this thing is well loved, and I haven’t even had it that long!  As you can tell, I love this shimmery, peachy pink blush (as does the rest of the world), and I love the bronzer too.  The bronzer is a tad shimmery, but it is just such a great color to give you a bronzey look to your skin.

NARS is pricey, a blush is $30, and bronzer is $39.  If you like both of these products and use them, you’re much better off buying the palette at $42.

Too Faced Soulmates Blush Bronzer Duo in Carrie and Big

Ok, so this one wins on packaging alone!  Too Faced always has the best packaging and names!  I love how they give you a ton of bronzer in here, and it is such a good color!  It’s warm toned, but doesn’t come off orangey at all!  And the blush is  a peachy coral.  This product costs the same as one of their bronzers, and you get a blush too.  Not to mention, this compact is huge!

I think buying blush and bronzer together like this is such a great way to get to try out two products! Also, it takes the guess work out of wondering what will go together.  Perfect for travel and perfect to throw in your bag for touch ups!  It will also save you some money.  I am a fan 🙂

Thanks for reading! xx
