EAT | Glazed Lemon Pound Cake

Welcome to my 400th blog post!  Yay!!!  Today we celebrate…with cake!  This cake is so delicious, so refreshing, and so easy!  The perfect sweet summer treat.  Let’s get started 🙂

What you need:

  • 1 package softened cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 package lemon cake mix
  • 4 eggs

GLAZE

  • 1 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1-2 tbsp milk

Beat cream cheese until smooth.  
Add in eggs, milk, and cake mix.  Beat until combined for 2 minutes. 

Pour into two 10 inch loaf pans, do not fill over halfway or they will overflow!   
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Let cool for about 30 minutes and mix up glaze ingredients.  You may have to play with the mixture a little bit, and add more powdered sugar to it until you get the desired thickness.  

 
  Pour over cake. 

This cake is delicious, and no one will believe you made it 🙂
