A Little Drugstore Haul

Every now and then, I find myself in an ULTA.  I was out of my favorite lotion, so I needed to buy another bottle, and well…I picked up a few other things.  Who can go to ULTA and just buy one thing?!

I LOVE Real Techniques brushes.  They are affordable and great quality.  I own most of them, but there were two more I wanted to try.  I have been wanting the Blush Brush and the Sculpting Brush, so I went ahead and grabbed both.  The packaging is so pretty with the pink metallic color, and the bristles are SO SOFT.  Love them.

I actually went to ULTA for this body lotion that I love.  This is Nivea Essentially Enriched Body Lotion for Dry to Very Dry Skin.  The reason I like this lotion so much is cause it makes me shiny.  It is so moisturizing and just makes my skin glow.  I also like the scent because it’s not strong, and it just smells fresh. I don’t like scented lotion, but I don’t mind this one.  It’s just regular lotion but it kind of gives the body oil look.

I can’t go to ULTA without grabbing some nail polish, and so I picked up another CND color called Pink Bikini.  Have y’all tried this nail polish brand?  It is the best I’ve ever used!  Lasts at least a FULL WEEK!  I’ve got a review here.  Anyhow, this color is so pretty.  It is a hot pink creme and it reminds me of watermelon and summer.  It is the perfect color for toes, I think!  But, I already put it on my nails, because I CAN’T WAIT.  This is after four days of wear.

Another color I snagged is Essie’s Virgin Snow.  This color is unlike any other color I own-it’s a very very light but bright lilac color.  Even though it is a very light color, it was opaque for me in just two coats.  Already tried this one on too!

I was on the hunt for the Milani Conceal and Perfect 2 in 1 Foundation, but sadly, ULTA did not carry it.  I did, however, find it at my local CVS.  I was excited to try this foundation, because it’s gotten really good reviews, and I like how it comes in a glass bottle with a pump.  I am disappointed though because the shade I chose is way too dark for me.  This is weird because I usually wear the 2nd to 3rd lightest shade in foundation and this is the lightest shade it came in.  I did really like the formula when I first applied it though, so that’s a bummer.

These Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lipcolors are fairly new, and I wanted to try them out.  I stuck with a MLBB color, Nude Flush, which looks gorgeous.  I’m excited to see how this works.

The last thing I picked up was the Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara.  This mascara is supposed to be a dupe for the Too Faced mascara, and from first glance, the brush looks exactly the same!  I’ll try this out and let you know if it’s a good dupe.

So, that’s all that I got from the drugstore.  I love the drugstore.  Let me know if you want a full review on anything I mentioned, and I’ll be glad to do it!

Thanks for reading! xx

    1. I really like them!!! They weren’t as long wearing as I was expecting, but I don’t mind re-applying! They aren’t drying, yay! I haven’t tried the mascara but I will make sure to do a review once I try it!! 🙂

      1. The only products I’ve truly had stay on for about 4-5 hours are the Lime Crime Velvetines and the Stila Stay All Day Liquid lipsticks! Yay I can’t wait to hear a review!

      2. I haven’t tried either one of those! Do they dry out your lips? I love the Colourpop ones but they dry my lips out a bit.

    1. I was so disappointed! I think I am going to give it to my sister, I’m pretty sure that shade will match her! I just wish it came in a lighter shade. It seems like a really good foundation. Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
