Worth The Splurge | Top 5 Luxury Beauty Products

Hello!  I am back with a new post coming at ya from my new bathroom counter!  Haha.  We are all settled into our new house and I’m ready to blog!

It’s rare that I splurge on very expensive beauty items.  I tend to like the drugstore, and usually stick to my tried and true products.

Buuuuut, sometimes I like to treat myself.  If I have a birthday or it’s a special occasion, I will splurge.  I’m going to share my top 5 luxury items that I’ve repurchased over and over- these are my tried and true products, and NOTHING from the drugstore can replace them (in my opinion).

Elizabeth and James Nirvana White EDP – this perfume smells so good, and I know I’ve mentioned it tons of times, but I just LURVE it.  It smells so feminine and floral (peony and light musk)and the scent lasts all day.  I have every version of this – rollerball, oil, spray, and it’s just my favorite scent.  Totally worth the spendy price tag.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir – Oh, Caudalie, stop sucking me in with your amazing skincare!  This is a toner/ facial spray that – I’ll say it- I’m freaking addicted to.  The scent (ohhh the scent) of it is like minty, but like spa-y at the same time.  I like to use this before my moisturizer to balance the ph in my skin, brighten, and tighten my pores.  I also use it throughout the day as a skin refresher.  This isn’t a setting spray, but it does contain essential oils and I find that it really hydrates my skin.  It’s so expensive, but the bottle does last a long time.

Dior Lip Maximizer – Dior really knows how to make lip products.  I love the Lip Glow, the Addict Gloss, the Creme de Rose, but my favorite of the bunch has got to be this Lip Maximizer.  It’s basically the perfect lip gloss- smooth, non-sticky, lasts a long time, and smells good.  But, what makes it really special is its plumping.  It subtly plumps the lips without a burning sensation.  I will never be without this gloss!

Burberry Wet/Dry Glow Shadow in No.002 Nude – this is probably my most favorite eyeshadow of all time, and I really try to save it for special occasions.  This color can be used wet or dry, is insanely pigmented and smooth, and the color is gorgeous, like liquified metal on the lids.  I mean, it’s Burberry.  Just go and swatch this.

LUSH Big Sea Salt Shampoo – I am a drugstore shampoo/conditioner type of gal.  Every time I try anything high end, it usually doesn’t wow me, and I’m back to my Herbal Essences in no time.  Believe me when I say that this little tub of shampoo is LIFE CHANGING.  I use this probably once a week to clarify my hair.  It smells like the beach, and has salt to really clean the hair and scalp.  It leaves a ton of volume in my hair, and it smells AMAZING.  My hair feels so clean after using this, and I can go days in between washing when I use it.  It’s almost $30, so I do consider it a luxury, but the tub does last a long time with weekly use!

That’s it for my favorite luxury products!  What do you like to splurge on?

xx Amy
