I had a few giftcards from my birthday just burnin’ a hole in my pocket, so I just had to go and spend them! I hit up Sephora, ULTA, and Wal-Mart and picked out a bunch of new (and repurchased) goodies!
Let’s start off with the good stuff…the MAKEUP.
Since I LOVE my Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Highlighter in Gilded Honey, I thought I would try out one of her new colors, so I picked up Charming Pink. This highlight is a frosty light pink, and is BEAUTIFUL. I am obsessed with these highlighters.
Also for the cheeks, there is something that has been on my wishlist for a long time. I have a lot of bronzer, and I just can’t justify another one, I really can’t. But you know, I had to splurge and get the coveted Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. I got the lightest shade, Milk Chocolate, and it is perfect. It smells just like chocolate and is the perfect matte brown.
I love every product I’ve ever tried from the Sephora Collection, so I’m really excited to try this Bright Future Gel Serum Concealer. I got the shade Meringue which is light with neutral undertones.
It wouldn’t be a haul without at least a few lip products, so I picked out another Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick. I have Lolita, and I love the formula and wear of it, so I decided on Lovesick, a mauve nude, and I can’t wait to try it! Also, I picked up another Lip Smacker in Dr. Pepper because I love it and I’ve been using it for years! Super moisturizing and gives just a tiny hint of color. Love it!
I also picked up some Boscia Blotting Papers in the Pink Peppermint scent, and another Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. I love to keep blotting papers in my purse for when I get shiny throughout the day, and I like the minty scent and feel of these. These sponges are a must have for me, I use them every single day to apply my foundation or tinted moisturizer. I love the finish they give.
I was also really excited for this product, the Butter London Electralash Mascara in Starlight. I have been looking for sparkly mascara for YEARS after trying my friend Katie’s a few years back. She recently pointed this out to me at ULTA and I was so excited. I can’t wait to use this as a mascara topper.
A couple more things that I got from the drugstore are a few of my staples. First, the Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, which dries so quickly and makes any nail polish super shiny. Also, the Garnier Micellar Water-I use this to remove my makeup and cleanse my face without water!
Next, I picked up some hair products. I needed some dry shampoo, so I got the Living Proof Dry Shampoo, which I LOVE, and the Batiste Dry Shampoo, which has been a longtime favorite. Both give me volume and make my hair feel clean.
The last thing is the It’s A 10 Plus Keratin Leave in Treatment. This is a heat protectant, leave in conditioner, and has a ton of other benefits for hair. This is my most favorite product to use on my har after I wash it, and I’ve repurchased this many times. It smells so good, and leaves my hair so so so soft. I love it!
Hope you liked this post!
