Sephora just had their fall VIB 20% off sale- and you know I had pick out some goodies.
Whenever they have these sales, I like to stock up on products I use a lot during the year (like skincare), and I also buy Christmas gifts during the sale too. Most of what I bought in the sale I can’t show, because the recipients of the gifts are readers! I can show the few things that I picked up for myself. So here we go!
Most of what I picked up was skincare, and most were repurchases.
Clinique Gel Moisturizer– this is my go-to, everyday moisturizer. It’s not thick or greasy, and it hydrates my skin. I like Clinique skincare because it never breaks me out.
Caudalie Beauty Elixir– I LOVE this stuff. I use it before my moisturizer to refresh and tone. It smells amazing and I really like the way it makes my skin feel.
Sephora Collection Purifying and Mattifying Mud Mask – this mask is a total Glamglow dupe and cleans out more pores and leaves my skin so soft and refreshed. I like to use this mask once a week.
Also from Sephora Collection are these little eye masks. These are little strips that you put underneath your eyes that take away puffiness, and they feel so refreshing on tired eyes. These two scents are my favorite.
Lastly for skincare is this Dior Abricot Fortifying Cream for Nails. This is a cuticle cream that is supposed to be really nice if you have dry cuticles that crack (I do). This smells really nice, and feels very nourishing. I’m excited to try this.
Also, I picked up another Sephora Collection Nail Polish Remover for Glitter. I always have this on hand- I won’t remove glitter nail polish without it. You simply dip your finger in and scrape it on the side into the sponge, and it removes all of the glitter. Love this.
Now, I also picked up some hair products- I love both of these brands here, and just have to try any new products they come out with!
First is a repurchase- this Bumble and Bumble Pret A Powder, which is a really good dry shampoo/texturizing powder. I like to sprinkle this into my roots- work it around and then brush it out. It absorbs oil and instantly makes my hair feel clean, while adding a ton of volume. This bottle has a ton of product in it and will last forever, I had my last one for years before it ran out.
Next, I purchased this Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast Spray. I love the Living Proof line, so when I saw this I thought I would like it. This is just a spray that is supposed to add volume to the hair-but what’s nice about it is that you can spray it on dry hair and it won’t feel sticky. I think I am really going to like this. I love some big hair.
The last hair product I purchased is this Bumble & Bumble Sunday Shampoo. I’ve been wanting to try this for a really long time. This is a clarifying shampoo that you’re supposed to use once a week, and it gets all of the product buildup out of your hair. This has ridiculously good reviews so I’m really excited to try this.
Ok, so let’s get to the good stuff. The makeup.
I had to treat myself to this Sephora Glow For It Kit. I actually bought 2 of these (one is a gift). This is currently sold out, but I’m hoping they bring it back because it’s an awesome value! It has 6 products- Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid in Moonstone, Benefit Watts Up, CoverFX Custom Infusion Drops in C+ Lemongrass Radiance, Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Powder in Incandescent Light, Lancôme Glow Subtil Silky Creme Highlighter in Glowing Lights 6, and Milk Makeup Sunshine Oil. This kit is such a good value – I am really excited for the Hourglass powder.
Next, I picked up a product I’ve had on my list for awhile. The Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer. This primer smells so amazing (like coconut) and has a moisturizer consistency (no silicone). This primer is supposed to be super hydrating while smoothing and brightening the skin.
The last thing is this Huda Beauty Lip Contour Set in Trendsetter/Bombshell. This set comes with two mini liquid lipsticks and a lipliner. I have heard great things about these liquid lipsticks, and at $24, this is a great value.
