It’s the time of year for beach trips and vacations, do you guys have any trips planned? Whenever I pack for a trip, I try to take as little as possible when it comes to makeup, and select products that are quick and easy to use.
Here’s what I like to pack in my travel bags.
I use this bigger, sequined bag for makeup, and this little pencil case type bag for brushes and tools.
I like to take a stick foundation, because I don’t have to worry about it spilling or breaking. This ELF Moisturizing Foundation Stick is the best! It gives nice coverage and a natural finish. I bring my Sephora Collection Concealer for my undereyes, and my favorite Laura Mercier setting powder.
I love to take this Instant Look in a Palette from Charlotte Tilbury. This has bronzer, highlight, two blush colors, and three eyeshadows. All of the colors work on me, and they are really nice quality and pigmented. I bring an extra eyeshadow with my like NYX Bedroom Eyes if I want to deepen up the look or add more shimmer. For my eyebrows, I take my Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil.
I like to have a few options when it comes to eye liners- you can really change your look with the color of an eyeliner pencil, so here I have a glittery brown pencil called Bourbon by UD. I also have an Estee Edit double pencil with black on one side and shimmery gray on the other (best eyeliner I’ve ever used- so creamy). I also like to take a black liquid liner- this is Blacquer by Marc Jacobs. I think I’m covered for eyeliner. The mascara I’m using currently is this YSL Babydoll, and then I’m bringing this gold glitter mascara topper by Butter London, because I love this and it adds a little bit of sparkle. Lastly for eyes, I’m bringing my favorite Red Cherry lashes and House of Lashes glue. You never know when you’ll need some lashes.
In my little pencil bag, I pack a few brushes and tools.
For face, I pack my Beauty Blender and Beauty Blender Mini for foundation and concealer. I pack my Real Techniques Blush brush for bronzer/contour, and my Morphe M435 Angled Brush for blush. Also my Real Techniques Setting Brush to set my undereye powder. I also take the Sigma E40 to use for highlighter.
I’m only taking two eye brushes, Sigma E25 and Sigma E30. Both are really nice blending brushes. I also bring my Shiseido Eyelash Curler and a pair of Tweezers.
That’s it for my travel makeup! Stay tuned next week for my Travel Beauty Essentials (skincare, haircare, etc.)!
