Hello! Today I am sharing some makeup favorites that I have been loving. I don’t switch up my makeup a ton for the different seasons, but I do like the berry and rosy tones for fall. I also like to incorporate purple in a subtle way if I am going for a colder weather look. Let’s get into it!
For my base, I keep it pretty simple.
I’m still loving my L’Oréal Infallible Pro- Glow, it gives me a nice medium coverage and a natural dewy finish. It lasts all day and feels weightless in my skin. The other product I’ve been using a lot is this Tarte Shape Tape Concealer. The only place I use concealer is under my eyes, and this is a really good one for dark circles. The key to using this is to use a tiiiiny bit. Like one tiny dot, and then blend it out with a sponge or brush. If you use too much, it will be a cakey mess. It covers my circles nicely and stays all day if I set it.
I use bronzer year round, and one of my favorites is this Too Faced Chocolate Soleil in Milk Chocolate. This is a light matte color that is nice for my skintone, and gives me some depth and dimension to my face. For blush, I love this Clinique Cheek POP Blush in Rosy Pop. This is such a good color for fall, it’s a matte rosy pink, similar to the pink flush you get when it’s cold on your cheeks. Love this. I like to use a golden colored highlight for fall along with this blush color. This is Laura Geller Gilded Honey, and it’s a beautiful gold shimmer that gives a pretty sheen to the skin.
I love to use purples for this season to deepen up my eyes a bit. Purple really compliments brown eyes.
I use MAC Shale all over my eyes, and then MAC Sketch in the crease. Shale is my favorite MAC shadow, and it’s this medium purple taupe color that is really cool toned and pretty on the lids. Sketch is kind of a purple burgundy color that comes off matte. The two colors together look really pretty. The effect is not as colorful as you may think, it’s hard to tell it’s even purple once it’s applied.
For lips, I am loving the cool tones.
I’ve been using this Smashbox Liner in Figgy, which is a red berry color. I’ve been using this all over the lips for a matte look. I also have been using Too Faced Melted Matte in Queen B. This is a very cool toned pinky gray color that is neutral but still a little bit deeper for fall.
Do you change up your makeup for the fall?
