October FAVORITES

Hello!  It is the end of October, and I’ve got a few new favorites to share with you.  I’ve been loving everything from primer to coffee creamer!  Let’s get started.

Beauty faves.

First off, my nails.  You may remember my review on this nail color a while back – but I am still loving this it!  This is Essie Ballet Slippers and I haven’t been wearing anything else lately.  It is a sheer, natural looking (but put together and chic) nail color that is so pretty.  Review and pics here.

Next, something I also did a review on, the L’Oréal Lash Paradise Mascara.  Aside from the gorg packaging, this mascara is also really good.  It gives super volume and length, doesn’t flake, and it holds my curl all day.  Check out my review here.

Last for beauty, the Too Faced HangoveRX Replenishing Face Primer.  I really like to use this in the fall/winter months when it’s a little bit cooler (I live in Texas- so it’s not that cool) and the air is drier.  This has coconut water in it and is so hydrating.  It also smells sooo good.  It just gives me an extra layer of hydration aside from my moisturizer.  Love it.

It’s a Ten makes some of the best hair products, so when I saw this, I had to give it a go.  This is the It’s a Ten Miracle Blowdry Volumizer.  Like all of the It’s A Ten products, it does ten different things for your hair- protects from heat, adds volume, decreases blow dry time, etc., and this one really helps with the volume.  I apply this into my roots while my hair is damp and then blowdry like normal.  It gives me some volume, texture, and it smells great too!

Lastly, the Paula’s Choice Resist Triple Action Dark Spot Eraser.  I am a freckleface,  so I am used to having a lot of spots, but I have a few sun spots underneath my eyes that I wanted to lighten up.  I chose this product because it has hydroquinone; a skin bleaching agent.  This cream also has glycolic acid, which exfoliates.  So, over time, it will lighten the spots, and I have noticed they do look lighter since I’ve been using it.  I apply it every night before bed, and I  also haven’t noticed any peeling or dryness, so I really like it so far.

I’ve got a few non beauty faves, too.

If you know me…you know I love cleaning and organizing…and also Mrs. Meyers products.  This is a line of natural cleaners that smell so great and do a good job of cleaning.

This is my favorite product, the Multi-Surface Everyday Cleaner.  You can use this cleaner on ANYTHING, I use it on marble, granite, tile, wood, walls…it really is handy to have a product like this.  My favorite scent is Geranium, which is so fresh and floral, but I have recently been using the Apple Cider scent.  This scent is limited edition, and I had to stalk my Target to find it.  It smells so good and like a warm apple pie is baking in the oven.  What I like most about this stuff is that the smell lingers after you clean with it, and it makes the whole house smell good.

I’m not much of a Starbucks person, I prefer to make my coffee at home every morning, and I usually don’t like creamer in my coffee.  I pretty much make it black with a little sweetener in it…UNTIL I FOUND THIS.  I saw this at my local grocery store and I thought I’d try it.  It is the Coffee Mate Natural Bliss Coffee Creamer in Pumpkin Spice.  This is so good, and all you need is a little bit in your cup.  It adds a cinnamon spice flavor and is so good and cozy.  I love it.

That’s is for my favorites!  What have you been loving?

  1. I love the L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara but I found that my one dried up really quickly compared to other drugstore alternatives, it was bought in sealed packaging so I don’t know why it happened – this has not put me off repurchasing as it rivals a lot of high end versions.

    1. Now that you mention that, I️ think the same! I️ opened this one in the middle of September and I️ noticed that it is drying up a bit already. I️ think it is just as good as high end – if not better! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
