Affordable Fall Fashion | 4 Outfit Ideas

Hello friends! Fall is officially upon us even if the 90 degree temps here in Texas don’t feel like it!

I wanted to write a little post to give you some fashion inspo (even if you’re still living in shorts and tank tops like me)! Most of the clothes are from Target or TJ Maxx, just because I LOVE all of the new collections at Target, and I also always find really cute things at TJ Maxx.

*I have linked the items that I was able to find, and linked similar items to the ones I was not. Enjoy!

Outfit 1

This is the kind of outfit I’m wearing now – minus the huge grandpa cardigan! I paired some distressed denim jean shorts with a little black chiffon cami and then threw this big oversized cardigan on. This cardigan is so cozy and soft, and I love the color. I put on some brown ankle boots, square shaped hoop earrings, and a long necklace with it. Super comfy and casual.

Outfit 2

For this outfit, I paired these blush colored high waisted jeans with this little floral wrap top together. I thought this would be so cute for a date night or a dressier event. The top has little ruffles on the sleeves and the waist, making it so flattering. I put some tan colored wedge booties with this and rolled up the distressed hem a little bit. I like to show a little bit of skin there. I added some big hoop earrings and I think it came out super cute.

Outfit 3

Let’s face it, this is what I usually wear. Haha. I loved this color blocked sweatshirt because it is a little bit cropped and it felt so cozy. I paired it with some black jeans, hoops (of course) and my trusty espadrilles.

Outfit 4

This is the dressiest outfit, and I thought since it had 3/4 sleeves, it was for fall. Haha. This romper has ruffled sleeves and hems at the bottom, and it has a pretty wrapped detail to the side. I put it with some tall heeled booties that have the slightest peep toe. I added some gold earrings and I think it looks pretty cute. Who doesn’t love polka dots?

August BEAUTY Faves

After taking about two months off, I’ve decided to bring back the ol blog and share a favorites post with you all! Hope y’all haven’t given up on me 🙂

Hopefully I will be able to get back to my old MWF schedule (maybe just MF?) now that both of my girls are in school. Allie started 2nd grade last week, and Ashley is starting Pre-K (only two days a week) this week. So, maybe I will have some free time on my hands! 🙂 I hope everyone is having a great summer.

Let’s talk faves!

Let’s talk about this eyeshadow palette which I’m sure a lot of you are familiar with.

This is the Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette. Too Faced recently repackaged this, hence the reason I found it at Nordstrom Rack for $13. This is a really nice palette! It has mattes, it has shimmers, and can take you from day to night.

Next up is this MAC blush in Springsheen.

If you are a fan of NARS Orgasm, you will love this! It is a peachy pink with a gold sheen. Pure ROSE GOLD.

Ohhh it’s so pretty. It is a sheertone blush, so it’s buildable, which I like. I don’t like super pigmented blush. This is a really nice one and stays on all day.

Also, something I really hate to love. This YSL Babydoll Mascara. It’s essspensive.

This mascara holds the curl in my lashes better than any mascara out there. Lash Paradise and Roller Lash are close, but this mascara takes the cake. It is super black, and really lifts and lengthens. I have to have this. YOLO.

I have a few lip faves that haven’t left my purse for almost a whole month.

First is this Fenty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow. I believe this is the only shade this comes in (they are releasing a pearly one soon though!) and it is just the perfect gloss. Not sticky, smells delish, and has a beautiful color and shimmer. Go look at the reviews! I’m not the only one who loves it. Here it is next to the blush.

The other lip product is the Revlon Kiss Exfoliating Balm. I had never seen it before but my sister gave it to me for my birthday and I LOVE it. The smell of it is like vanilla mint, and it subtly exfoliates and moisturizes your lips. It’s not as sugary as a lip scrub, but it does have a teeny amount of grit to it. I really like it and it’s perfect for my purse.

I’ve been using a new moisturizer, this Ole Henriksen Nurture Me Moisturizing Creme.

This brand has a bunch of different types in these jars, but I love this pink one. It is a nice thick moisturizing cream that smells like an orange creamsicle. Sometimes I will open my beauty cabinet just to smell it. It feels so smooth and nice on my skin and hasn’t broken me out.

Next, some hair faves. First is the Living Proof Restore Smooth Blow Out Concentrate.

This is a hair serum that you only need a teeny bit of (one pump) and it smoothes the hair and helps to minimize blow dry time. It smells AMAZING (duh, Living Proof) and my hair feels so soft after using it.

Next are these cute little hair ties.

These are the Invisibobble Slim ponytail holders. These are so cute and come in a bunch of colors. They will keep your hair up all day and they don’t make a dent in your hair when you take them out. Love them!

That’s it for the faves! What have you been loving this month?
