BEST OF BEAUTY | 2018

Hello! Today I am posting my absolute favorite- the BEST BEAUTY PRODUCTS of 2018. I have discovered some great ones this year, and I can’t wait to share them! I know that I haven’t blogged much lately, but I hope to change that in 2019. 🙂 Let’s get on to the faves.

Let’s start off with haircare.

I have rediscovered the Organix haircare brand and I love it so. I use the Tea Tree and Mint Shampoo (my husband does as well). We love it because it feels super minty and tingly, and really leaves our hair feeling clean. I also really love the Coconut Milk Conditioner. It is very luxurious and feels so soft on my hair. I usually go with drugstore shampoo and conditioners, and these are really nice for the price.

Skincare

I have used this Ole Henriksen Nurture Me moisturizer all year and I really love it. It smells like a creamsicle, it’s lightweight, doesn’t feel greasy, and it does such a great job of moisturizing. I use this every morning before makeup. It wouldn’t be a best of beauty post if I didn’t mention the Caudalie Beauty Elixir. This is a toner spray that is so nice and refreshing. I use this all the time, especially when it is hot outside. It smells like a spa and feels sooo luxurious.

Nails

For nails, I have still been loving the Essie Gel Couture. Matter of Fiction and Last Nightie are my favorite colors. Matter of Fiction is a super almost white pink color that is so perfect with any outfit. Last Nightie is a tan/pink nude shade with a subtle shimmer. These polishes do not budge with the topcoat. Also, this year I have discovered the Nails Inc Duos from Sephora. Great price and BEAUTIFUL colors. I love these, and I want THEM ALL. I have the Holler-graphic Duo, The Unicorn Duo, and the Future is Fairy Duo.

Ok, let’s get on with the makeup.

This is the Bare Minerals Bare PRO. This is a pressed powder foundation that I LOVE, and I wear the color Aspen 04. I started this compact in January of 2018, and it is now December and I’m almost out. I have used this pretty much every single day of the year. It’s lightweight, has buildable coverage, doesn’t break me out, and gives me a luminous look. I will be starting my new compact soon!

For concealer, I literally only have one in my house. It’s the Tarte Shape Tape in the color Light. I use this underneath my eyes, and NOTHING compares. It covers my dark circles, lasts all day, and looks natural. Ride or die right hurr.

For bronzer, I love Too Faced. As you can see, the Milk Chocolate Soleil has been well loved, and a new one for me this year was the Unicorn Bronzer. The Milk Chocolate is matte, and lighter than the Unicorn, while the Unicorn gives a little bit of a sheen and is darker. Love this one for the summer. I’m trying to save the Unicorn though, so I only use the top part. 🙂

For mascara, there’s only one I’ve used this year- the YSL Babydoll mascara. I believe this is my fifth tube I’ve bought just this year. It is just perfect. It’s super black, holds a curl, and doesn’t flake. LOVE.

The life changing lip product that I have used all year is this Fenty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow. I know they have come out with a few new shades, but this one is the OG. It is so perfect. Such a pretty rosy gold shade, it’s not sticky, has just the right amount of shimmer, and it smells heavenly and fruity. They call it the “universal lip luminizer” because it supposed to look great on everyone.

So that’s it for the faves! They were good, right? 🙂 Hope you all have a Happy New Year, and thanks for sticking with me!
