Everyday Makeup | 10 Minutes and Natural

Happy Friday! Today is a beauty post, which are still my favorite types of posts to create! I am talking all about makeup today; sharing my every day routine!

I wear makeup every day, and this is what I do most days. It only takes 10 minutes, and makes me feel more put together, more awake, and just all-around better.

A little bit about my skin – I have normal to dry skin, no breakouts, and my skin is very fair and freckled. I do not use liquid foundation because it makes me feel like I have a mask on, and covering my freckles looks weird to me. I use a powder foundation that allows my freckles to show through while still evening out my skin tone.

THE GOODS.

Lets start off with face makeup.

I’ve already applied my sunscreen and moisturizer, so first I apply my Bare Minerals Bare Pro Performance Wear Powder Foundation in 04 Aspen. I use the Bare Minerals Precision Face Brush to apply this; it is a dense angled brush. I buff this all around in circular motions.

The next product I use is the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer in Light. I apply this underneath my eyes to conceal my dark circles and then tap it in with my finger to blend.

To add some color and dimension to my face, I use the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer in Milk Chocolate. I use the Real Techniques Blush Brush in circular motions all along the perimeter of my face and into my cheekbones.

For blush, I use the MAC Sheertone Blush in Springsheen, a peachy pink color with golden shimmer. I apply this with a Morphe M435 angled brush.

Let’s move onto the eyes!

Eyebrows are verrry important, so I use the Anastasia Brow Powder Duo In Dark Brown along with an angled brush to fill in my eyebrows. I kind of just mix the two colors together. This helps keep them looking put together, but still natural.

For shadow, I keep it super simple with this Too Faced Natural Eye Palette. I use a shimmery beige color on the lids, and a matte medium brown color in the crease. The brushes are both from Sigma, E25 for laying down the lid color, and E35 for blending.

For liner, I prefer a dark brown pencil, my favorite is Urban Decay 24/7 Pencil in Demolition; a matte brown color. I apply this to my upper lash line, and smudge it under my lower lash line. This gives definition to my eyes while still looking natural. Black liner tends to look harsh on me.

Lashes make a big difference, so I make sure to curl them, and also use a mascara that adds volume and length, like Benefit Roller Lash. I actually picked up this travel size the other day, because I was at the mall and had forgotten to apply mascara that morning. This is my favorite high-end mascara.

Can’t forget the lips! I used my all-time fave lipstick, MAC Syrup, which is a pinky-purple that has some shine to it. I then topped it off with my Dior Lip Maximizer in Pink, just to add a little bit more shine.

Here’s the before and after!

Can you see my dog Mollie on the chair? 🙂
