EAT | Banana Walnut Bread

Hello! Today we are making a delicious treat that my whole family loves to eat for breakfast. This banana bread is special because it has just the right amount of sweetness, and it doesn’t come out dry like a lot of banana bread recipes. I hope you like it!

What you’ll need:

  • 3 mashed bananas (about 1 1/4 cup)
  • 1 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup walnuts (optional, but recommended!)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Mash bananas and add melted butter. You can just use a large spoon to mix, no electric mixer needed.

Add baking soda and salt and stir.

Add in sugar and mix.

Add egg.

Add flour slowly and combine.

Add walnuts and pour into loaf pan.

Bake for about 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Perfect.

Perfectly sweet and delicious! I love to make this at night after my girls go to bed, refrigerate it, and then surprise them with a treat for the morning! Everyone in my house prefers this bread cold, but it tastes so good either way!

Thanks for reading!

xx
