The Miracle $5 Hair Mask

Welp, I have to confess, I have not had a haircut in about a year. Over a year. I was trying to grow out my hair (it is SO LONG), and then with the whole COVID thing…I just haven’t gotten around to it. Maybe I will be able to get one soon, but for now, I’m just gonna hide my split ends the best I can!

I found this mask, and it is a game changer!

This is the Maui Moisture Heal and Hydrate Hair Mask. I picked this up for $5.32 at my local Wal-Mart.

This mask comes in a 12 oz tub, and has really good ingredients like shea butter, aloe, coconut oil, and macadamia oil. It is vegan, paraben free, and sulfate free.

The consistency light and fluffy, like whipped cream!

It is supposed to heal and hydrate hair, and that is just what I need for the dry ends of my hair!

I use this mask about twice a week, I apply it to dry hair (from about my ears down). I really saturate the ends with it, pull it up into a bun (gets a lil messy) and let it sit in my hair as long as I can. 4-5 hours usually.

After that, I shampoo and condition as normal, and my hair is so soft. Not to mention, the smell of this product lingers. It is like a coconut pineapple paradise. You have to smell it!

Although the product doesn’t take away the split ends, it does make my hair appear smoother, shinier, and just a lot softer.

If you have dry hair like I do, I really recommend this mask! It is affordable, and it really works!

Thanks for reading! xx
