EAT | Quick & Easy Chicken Alfredo

Ahhhh pasta, am I right? I could eat pasta all day, every day! Any kind will do, but especially with Alfredo sauce because CHEESE. Here is how I make my special and easy Chicken Alfredo!

What you need:

  • two chicken breasts, diced and sautéed
  • 1 lb fettuccine pasta
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup parmesan
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • parmesan to top

Sauté chicken and remove from pan.

In a pot, boil pasta.

Add olive oil to your pan and sauté garlic until fragrant.

Add broth, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Bring up to a boil, add cream, parmesan, and chicken.

When pasta is cooked, add that to the sauce, and top with parsley.

Mix together and top with more parm.

Soo delicious, so creamy, just the perfect comfort food!

I hope you like it!

BEAUTY Haul

Well even though it was just Christmas, I bought a few makeup and beauty things for myself lately and wanted to share! You know how it is when you shop online, it’s so easy to ADD TO CART. Sometimes you just gotta treat yourself, right?

Here’s what I picked up.

First up, some lip products, cause ya girl can never have enough!

The Dior Lip Maximizer is my favorite gloss of all time, so you can imagine that I HAD to pick up this NEW limited edition shimmery hot pink color! The color is called Ultra Pink.

This gloss is a smoothing, slightly plumping formula with a sheer hot pink shimmer. Gorgeous, non-sticky, and LASTS.

Next, another one of my faves that I have repurchased, this Marc Jacobs Lip Liner in Slow Burn. I love this color; it is the perfect my-lips-but-better shade, has great lasting power, and doesn’t dry out my lips.

Last for the ol lips, a SCRUBBER. I’m going to use this with a lip scrub and hopefully the results will be magical for my dry chapped winter lips. It’s double sided, too!

I picked up this Ilia Soft Focus Finishing Powder because I have been lusting after it for ages. It is very pricey, but I decided to pull the trigger. It’s a translucent setting powder that is supposed to be amazing for its blurring capabilities. Anything with “soft focus” just calls to me.

ANOTHER nail polish because you know, I needed one. Haha. This one is so cool and different from any of the nail colors I own. It is the Nails Inc polish in Cosmic Blur. This looks so so pretty. It is a sheer pearly white with a holographic shimmer/glitter! I can’t wait to try it.

I have never tried any Dermalogica products before, but I saw this exfoliating powder that you mix up with water, and I was intrigued. I purchased the smaller size of this to try it out, but it has a ton of powder inside and I think you only need a little bit. I love exfoliating, so hopefully this one’s good!

Lastly, a hair product. I haven’t tried any products from IGK before, and I heard good things about this Good Behavior Spirulina Protein Smoothing Spray. This is a heat protectant blow dry spray that is supposed to smooth the hair and tame frizz. I love to test out hair products, and I’m excited to try more from this brand.

That’s it for my haul! Let me know if you want an in depth review of anything shown here!

Essie Winter Collection 2020

For my first post of 2021, I am sharing my picks from the Essie Winter Collection! Essie is my favorite brand because of their COLORS. They always have the most gorgeous colors and finishes.

They released this collection a few months back and I narrowed it down to three that HAD to be purchased.

LOOK at these COLORS!!! They also had a white, a green, and a darker purple, but these three were my fave. They all have a gold frost to them. PERFECT for the holidays and winter.

First off, I mentioned the red one, In A Gingersnap, in my Holiday Nails Blog! This one is a candy apple red with a glittery golden pearl finish. Just stunning. I only needed two coats with this one and it was perfectly opaque.

Next, is a pale pinky purple with a glittery gold pearl sheen, called Bon Bon Nuit. This one was a bit on the sheer side, so I did three coats.

So pretty and sparkly! This collection is all about the sparkles.

Lastly is Love At Frost Sight, a periwinkle baby blue/purple with a glittery golden pearl. This one was also sheer, so I did three coats. The color of this actually reminds me a lot of a lighter Essie Bikini So Teeny, but with shimmer.

Which one is your fave?
