We are talking the best of the best today. The tried and true, use everyday, deserted island brushes. These 5 are all I need for my perfect makeup look!
I have three face brushes and two eye brushes. Let’s start with the face ones.
So first off, my Bare Minerals Precision Face Brush. You know my love for Bare Minerals runs deep, and I use this brush everyday to apply my powder foundation. I use both the pressed and loose versions, and this brush is my secret weapon. It is dense and angled, and it applies the foundation flawlessly and blends it perfectly!
For blush, I love an angled brush, and this Morphe M435 is perfect. It is just the right size, the bristles are soft and it is so easy to blend my blush upwards.
Lastly for face, we have the Ecotools Blending and Bronzing Brush. This is a duo-fiber brush that is so so good for applying bronzer. It is soft, but not too soft, and helps me blend in my bronzer all over the perimeter of my face. It’s also not too big, so you have good control with it, even though you’re putting it all over. Love this one.
So for eyes, I chose two. The Sigma E25 is THE only brush I can apply eyeshadow with. It’s not too fluffy, and I love how it tapers on the end. You can lay down color with this brush, and you can also blend with it. It’s a twofer.
Lastly, an angled brush for doing my brows. This one is from Chanel, but any one will do, as long as it is dense and not real soft. I apply brow powder every day because I love the natural brow look, and an angled brush is perfect for laying down the color in short strokes.
