ERHMAGERD SERPHERA SALE!!! You KNOW I had to partake. I can’t pass up a discount there since everything is expensive and hardly ever goes on sale. Anyway, here’s what I picked up.

The first two things were actually gifts for my Mom’s birthday coming up.

The first thing is this Stella Rollerball Fragrance Duo. This has the original Stella fragrance, and the newer Stella Peony scent. My Mom loves perfume, and Stella is one of her favorite scents, so I thought she would like these two little travel sizes.

The other thing is this Loccitane Amande Set. This one is actually sold out now, but there are a bunch of other little sets. My Mom also really loves the Amande line from Loccitane, so this was perfect for her. The bag was really cute too.

Ok, now for me. 🙂

I LOVE Sephora haircare. Living Proof, Amika, Drybar, Bumble & Bumble…they’re my jams. I tend to use drugstore shampoo and conditioner, but for styling products…I go to Sephora!

First up, an old favorite of mine that I’ve mentioned over and over! The Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo. This dry shampoo takes away any oil, adds volume, and smells great. Love it!

Another old favorite of mine is this Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray. This is a texturizing sea salt spray that dries down MATTE. Doesn’t look crunchy or greasy, but gives the beachy waves I’m after. It also smells like a salty beach vacation. LOVE.

Lastly for hair is something I’ve been wanting for awhile. I had received a sample of this, and the teeny sample lasted me a month! This is the Living Proof Restore Smooth Blowout Concentrate. You only need one tiny pump of this stuff (and I have long thick hair), and it’s like an oil that lowers blow dry time, smoothes, and leaves my hair super shiny. It also smells so good and comes in such a nice pretty glass bottle (my precious). Like I said, one pump is all you need, so this bottle will last forever!

Something a little bit boring I picked up was this Sephora Solid Brush Cleaner. I use this to clean all of my brushes and also my sponges, and gets every little bit of makeup off of them. It’s so easy and quick to use, suds up good, and rinses super squeaky clean. Love this!

Another product I have used before is this Anastasia Brow Powder Duo. I prefer powders to cream products while doing my brows, and this is the best powder out there. It is super pigmented, so a teeny bit goes a loooong way. Like 3 years long way. I use this and then I swipe on the Boy Brow, and I’m good to go all day!

Ok, I saved the best for last!

Go to right now and look at the reviews for this Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow. It has like 3500 five star reviews! I haven’t really been interested in this brand until I saw this (sold out) lipgloss in the store. They only had the tester, so I smelled it and looked at it, and I knew I had to order it! It smells like pink starburst! It is also BEAUTIFUL. It’s a rosy color with gold shimmer, it’s not sticky and OMG the packaging. I knew I’d love this.

Next. I’ll admit it, I am a 33 year old Mom, and I’ll tell you what, this Unicorn shiz just CALLS TO ME. It’s like if Lisa Frank made makeup! You should have seen my girls’ faces when i showed them this. This is the Too Faced Unicorn Tears Bronzer. I have been wanting a shimmery bronzer, and I mean, can we talk about the purpley iridescent UNICORN in the middle?! I can’t stop staring at it, and can’t even bring myself to swatch it. Maybe I’ll do a review when I finally decide to use it.

That’s it for the haul! I think I got some good new things to try!

Let me know what you’d like a full review on 🙂

Current Beauty Faves

Hello friends! I hope you are having a good spring! I love spring, but I love summer even more, and can’t wait for it. I have a few fashion posts coming up, but today I am sharing my current favorite beauty products of the moment (since I missed March Faves) 🙂

First up is this Wet N Wild Pro Flat Contouring Brush. I have been wanting a densely packed flat top narrow brush like this for awhile, and this is exactly what I had in mind. It’s so pretty with the rose gold pointed handle (fancy), and it feels nice and soft. I can use this for applying my bronzer or contour powder. It gets right under my cheekbones and really nicely blends the powder. Great price too!

Next is a pencil liner, this is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Liner in Black. I am sure that I have talked about this liner before, but it’s pretty much my favorite pencil liner out there (RIP Estee Edit). It is super black and creamy, and it stays put all day, even in the waterline. AND it’s from the drugstore.

Lastly for makeup is a super bougie shadow, this Burberry single in Nude 002. This is probably the most beautiful shadow that I own, hands down. It’s a taupe/silver/brownish gold…I don’t even know how to describe it but it is metallic and sparkly and wonderful. Just go swatch it. This pic doesn’t even do it justice.

For skincare, I have gone back to using Philosophy’s Help Me Retinol Treatment every night, and I just love how this makes my skin look in the morning! It really smoothes the skin, lessens the appearance of pores, and my dark circles. It does dry me out a little bit, so I just use extra moisturizer in the morning.

Another skincare product that I can’t do life without is this Dr. Jart SPF 30. I love this lightweight sunscreen, and I use it every day under my makeup. It doesn’t have a strong smell, doesn’t feel greasy, and doesn’t break me out. I’m sticking w you, Dr.

Last thing for skin are these random Eye Patches that I found on Amazon. I figured i would give these a try because you get 60 for like, $5! They have collagen, vitamin e, and give a lot of hydration to the under eye area. They really reduce puffiness and make my eyes feel nice. Love these little babies.

Lastly, for my hair, is the Bumble and Bumble Repair Blow Dry Cream. I apply a little bit of this to my hair before blowdrying, and it makes my hair so smooth and soft. It’s good to use a cream or some type of serum in your hair prior to blowdrying because it protects from heat and really smoothes after you’re done drying. This is a good one! It smells really nice too.

That’s it for the faves! …and I promise to blog more 🙂

Hello! I am back with a favorites post, and I really love making these posts. I rediscovered an old face wash and palette, and have been trying out some new things as well. Let’s get into it!

So first off, I don’t know what made me try this mascara, but I’m kinda regretting it because of the price. This is the YSL Faux Cils Babydoll Mascara. I LOVE this mascara so much. It makes my lashes SO VOLUMINOUS. It holds the curl all day, doesn’t flake, and when I’m applying it, it never clumps no matter how many coats I pack on. I hate that I like this because it’s freakin $32.

Next for makeup, this palette that I was obsessed with back in the day (last year, lol).

This is the Marc Jacobs Style Eye Palette in Lolita. This particular palette is d/c, but there are other colors that look beautiful. I love the packaging of this and how small and compact it is. The shadows are amazing and last really well. I’ve been wearing this every day.

I used to use this face wash ERRDAY and I’m not really sure why I stopped. This is Philosophy’s Purity Cleanser. I dug this out from my cabinet and have started using it again, and my skin looks so good! It is a very gentle cleanser and works really well with my Clarisonic. It doesn’t dry out my skin or leave it feeling tight.

Next, a teeeny tiny little sample I got when I placed an order awhile ago, and it is the Living Proof Restore Smooth Blowout Concentrate. I don’t know how this is still half full, cause I’ve used it pretty much every time I’ve blowdried this month. Since it’s a concentrate, I use two pumps (don’t use any more than that), which seems like a tiny amount for my long and thick hair. It’s like a slippery concentrated oil that not only softens the hair, but helps it dry quicker! It gives me a nice and straight blow dry. I’m definitely going to be purchasing this when I run out.

After seeing so many commercials about this, I had to pick it up a few weeks ago at target. This is a new hairspray from TRESemme, it’s the Compressed Micro Mist. There are four different hold levels, but I went for the strongest, because it’s who I am, and I like some stiff hair. Haha, it actually doesn’t leave my hair stiff at all, and I really love it! The smell is really nice, and it’s a super fine mist, so no big clumps of hairspray.

Lastly, and also from Target, the new Mrs. Meyers Multi Surface Spray spring scents are out! I LOVE these, and use them everyday. I use them to clean anything and everything, and this particular one, Peony, leaves my house smelling so good. It smells like a fresh field of flowers, and makes my countertops sparkle. I actually look forward to cleaning because I love this so much.

That’s it for the faves! Hope you enjoyed them.

Products I Regret Buying

Yep, we’re doing it, we’re going there. We’re about to bash some products.

Let’s start with the two hair products I have here.

Ok, so you may remember this first gem from my recent beauty haul post from a few weeks ago. This is the Garnier Smooth Air Dry Anti-Frizz Cream. So, this product claims to give you frizz control without heat styling. I don’t usually have frizz, so I’m not sure about that, but it did make my hair feel like a greasy sticky mess no matter how much I used. I ran some of this through my hair, let it air dry, and it still FELT WET. NO, Garnier, NO.

Next. WHY OH WHY do I continue to buy hair products made for kids? Why don’t I just stick to Its a Ten for my two girls who both have longer hair than me? This product is the FairyTales Static Free Detangler Spray. This “DETANGLER” sucks! First of all, it reeks, both of the girls said it smelled like their “stinky cheese crayon“. Also, this shiz doesn’t detangle or make hair feel silky AT ALL. If anything, it dries their hair out. Fail. Maybe this is meant for a baby with no hair. I don’t know.

Shall we even talk about this green cream that “transforms to a universal shade”??? No L’Oréal, not everyone is this shade of orange, tysm. This is the L’Oréal Anti Redness BB Cream. First off, to cover redness, the product has to STAY GREEN. This doesn’t, oxidizes, and turns orange.

Not only is it orange, but it is super oily and feels heavy and greasy on my skin. Yuck. HARD PASS, L’Oréal.

This pencil looked so promising! It is the Lancôme Drama Liqui-Pencil, and I thought it would be close to that Estee Edit Pencil Liner that I loved. Unfortunately, it is not. It’s dry, it drags, and it’s not creamy and smooth at all. This has fairly good reviews, so maybe I just got a bad one?

Lastly, a mascara that is super weird. Why did I even think this would be good?

I love to try new mascara, so I thought this one looked pretty and interesting. This is the L’Oréal Voluminous Butterfly Sculpt Mascara. Unfortunately, the wand on this makes it so difficult to apply. Most of the wand is bare, but on the top there are some tiny spikes. This mascara is an extremely wet formula, and immediately clumped up on me. It weighed down my lashes and looked so bad. Also, is was VERY hard to remove, and it’s not even waterproof. I think I’ll stick to my Lash Paradise.

Alright, so I hope I helped you from wasting your money on this junk!

Thanks for reading xx

January FAVES

Good morning! I can’t believe it’s already the end of January! I am excited to share some favorites with you today that I have been loving all month long.

Let’s start with makeup.

I bought this blush awhile ago, but I just recently pulled it out and started using it again. This is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush. This blush is beautiful. It is a rosy pink color mixed with a champagne colored highlight. It is so pretty on the cheeks and gives a glow without being shimmery.

Next was a Christmas present from my 3 year old daughter Ashley. My husband says she HAD to grab this Chanel lipstick and get it for me while they were Christmas shopping at Nordstrom. I have never owned a Chanel lipstick before, but, ASHLEY DID GOOD. He says she picked the color and everything. He had no say. This is the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Lipstick in 93 Intime.

Literally THE PERFECT sheer moisturizing nude color. I’ve got a review for this coming up soon, so stay tuned 🙂

Next, a few nail faves. First, this OPI nail color in Put It In Neutral.

I’ve been loving this sheer, neutral pink color. Goes with everything, and looks so classy and chic.

Another nail fave is this cuticle oil pen I picked up at my local grocery store – but I found it on amazon HERE. This is the Bliss KISS Simply Pure Cuticle Nail Oil Pen. This is a twist up pen that dispenses cuticle oil! I use this in the car while I am waiting for my daughter in the parent pick up line, and it really has softened my cuticles and made my nails look so good! It feels so nourishing and doesn’t feel greasy.

Next, is a skincare item I have talked about a ton. This is one of my favorite deep pore cleansing masks, the Sephora Collection Purifying and Mattifying Mud Mask. I love to use this mask when my skin feels oily or I am breaking out. It clears the pores and makes my face feel super clean, but not dry.

Lastly is a haircare item, the Bumble and Bumble Repair Blow Dry Cream. I haven’t been curling my hair lately like I usually do, I’ve just been wearing it straight. I like to apply this cream before I blow dry it, and it smoothes my hair and helps a lot with frizz. It also protects against heat and makes my hair feel super soft.

That’s it for the faves! What have you been loving this month?
