Hi guys! I hope y’all are having a great week! I recently saw pictures of the new Essie Fall 2014 collection online, and I knew I needed some of those colors in my life! I went over to CVS because they always have all the new makeup and nail collections. I thought I would share some of the new things I found.
First up, nail polish. I picked up 2 colors from the Essie Fall Collection for 2014. I chose Dress To Kilt, a deep red cream, and Style Cartel, a cream navy color. Both of these colors are gorgeous, and perfect for fall. Style Cartel was the one I really wanted. Even though it’s a navy blue, it has a brightness to it, so it doesn’t look like black on the nails like some navy blue colors.
The next display I went for was the new Maybelline Soft Matte Lipsticks. Matte lips are really on trend for the fall, and I’ve heard really good things about these new lipsticks. I was afraid they would be sold out – I’ve read that they are hard to find – but my CVS had a full display just waiting for me! (Yay for country living!) The color that I went for was Touch Of Spice, a brown-y mauve color. I’m excited to try this out. I love Maybelline lipsticks, they always have great color payoff and last really well on me. The only thing I don’t like about them is the scent. I HATE the scent, but I put up with it cause they’re such great lipsticks.
The next thing I bought was this new St Ives Even & Bright Pink Lemon and Mandarin Orange Scrub. I love any kind of citrus smelling facial scrub, and this one promises bright, radiant skin, so I’m all about that. I love the Apricot Scrub from this brand, so hopefully this one is just as good.
I needed some new lash glue, and my favorite brand is the Revlon kind, so I picked up some more of that. I saw that the Ardell Lashes were on sale so I picked out my two favorite kinds, the Natural 117‘s and the Glamour 107‘s. I also bought a 4-pack of Burt’s Bees Original Beeswax Lip Balm for my husband, who loves this chapstick and goes through it like crazy. I figured this 4-pack would last him a while.

I really want to try out the new maybelline lipsticks soon, and I love the 117 lashes. I’ve used them on one of my gorgeous friends for a photoshoot and her eyes always look amazing! Great haul!
I love them too, a lot more than the Demi wispies. They would be great for a photoshoot! You should definitely try out those lipsticks! I wore it all day yesterday and it wasn’t drying and lasted a good 3 hours on me! I am anxious to go pick up some of the other colors. Lust for Blush looks really pretty!
