Current Beauty Faves

Hello friends! I hope you are having a good spring! I love spring, but I love summer even more, and can’t wait for it. I have a few fashion posts coming up, but today I am sharing my current favorite beauty products of the moment (since I missed March Faves) 🙂

First up is this Wet N Wild Pro Flat Contouring Brush. I have been wanting a densely packed flat top narrow brush like this for awhile, and this is exactly what I had in mind. It’s so pretty with the rose gold pointed handle (fancy), and it feels nice and soft. I can use this for applying my bronzer or contour powder. It gets right under my cheekbones and really nicely blends the powder. Great price too!

Next is a pencil liner, this is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Liner in Black. I am sure that I have talked about this liner before, but it’s pretty much my favorite pencil liner out there (RIP Estee Edit). It is super black and creamy, and it stays put all day, even in the waterline. AND it’s from the drugstore.

Lastly for makeup is a super bougie shadow, this Burberry single in Nude 002. This is probably the most beautiful shadow that I own, hands down. It’s a taupe/silver/brownish gold…I don’t even know how to describe it but it is metallic and sparkly and wonderful. Just go swatch it. This pic doesn’t even do it justice.

For skincare, I have gone back to using Philosophy’s Help Me Retinol Treatment every night, and I just love how this makes my skin look in the morning! It really smoothes the skin, lessens the appearance of pores, and my dark circles. It does dry me out a little bit, so I just use extra moisturizer in the morning.

Another skincare product that I can’t do life without is this Dr. Jart SPF 30. I love this lightweight sunscreen, and I use it every day under my makeup. It doesn’t have a strong smell, doesn’t feel greasy, and doesn’t break me out. I’m sticking w you, Dr.

Last thing for skin are these random Eye Patches that I found on Amazon. I figured i would give these a try because you get 60 for like, $5! They have collagen, vitamin e, and give a lot of hydration to the under eye area. They really reduce puffiness and make my eyes feel nice. Love these little babies.

Lastly, for my hair, is the Bumble and Bumble Repair Blow Dry Cream. I apply a little bit of this to my hair before blowdrying, and it makes my hair so smooth and soft. It’s good to use a cream or some type of serum in your hair prior to blowdrying because it protects from heat and really smoothes after you’re done drying. This is a good one! It smells really nice too.

That’s it for the faves! …and I promise to blog more 🙂

xx
